Winterbride is primarily composed of Jodi Renée and Terrance Rayner. Their music first unveiled itself, in some form, about five years ago after the two crossed paths while living in the same apartment block in East Vancouver. Upon their acquaintance, they soon realized their mutual love for music and writing, and with the help of some talented musicians, eventually produced and recorded their debut, self-titled record.
