Winter in Moscow are an indie rock band from London, England. Formed in 2011 when Gareth (guitar/vocals), Tom (keys) and Matt (bass) would spend hours jamming and listening to a diverse collection of records including Guided by Voices, Pixies, Jay Reatard, Wire, REM amongst others and sharing a love for the passion and rawness of the music. Taking this as a starting point for the band, they embraced a lo-fi garage rock aesthetic mixed with an eccentric pop formula and from this aim to provide an outline through clever melodies and tongue-in-cheek lyrics and ask the listener to complete the dots. July 2014 saw the release of their debut EP, Well Done Mr Creeper, for free via Bandcamp. In February 2016 they released their debut album, Kid Radar, on Population One records.
