“Still Headed Nowhere” is the debut EP from New Englands newest garage punk group, Wimpy & The Medallions feat. Wimpy Rutherford (The Queers, The Jabbers). “Still Headed Nowhere” was recorded and written in 48 hours during memorial day weekend 2012. Lots of hot dogs, beers and drugs were consumed. Jack Hayes (Aka Wimpy Rutherford) is one of the founding members of the legendary punk rock band The Queers. Formed in 1982, Rutherford co-wrote many of the Queers classics that are now staples in the genre, titles including “This Place Sucks”, “I Want Cunt”, “Kicked Out of the Webelows” and many more. Rutherford also took over duties as lead singer in the Jabbers, a band that originally featured a young G.G. Allin. “Wimpy and the Medallions” also features members of notable pop/punk groups such as The Guts, the Leftovers, The Connection and Kurt Baker Band.
