WILLIAM CAMPBELL (b. 1969) is a composer, performer and teacher. Recent premieres of his music include Coyote Dances by the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Quintet for Piano and Strings. He also works with socially conscious independent filmmakers in movies such as BombHunters and Finding Face by Spin Film. His concert band music is performed throughout the country and published by BRS Music. As a pianist and improviser, he performed with the acclaimed Sonoran Consort with whom he released two commercial CDs. Last spring he released the CD, Piano Songs, of solo piano compositions available through all major outlets. Additionally, churches nationwide sing his music for worship every Sunday. Awards and honors include multiple ASCAPPlus Awards, a Penfield Music Commission Project Composition Prize, and a Waging Peace International Composition Special Honor. He is currently the Chair of the Music Department at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
