Fronted by Chris Leone, New Jersey’s very own Wicker Hollow also features members Jesse Manna, Chris Derner, Sean McKnight and Chris Sparta. Formed in 2006, this five piece rock/punk band has done more than most can say in just over two short years. Live Like You Know What You’re Leaving, Wicker Hollow’s debut record, was released in September 2007 just five months after the band was featured in the motion picture “Mysterious” staring Anna Lynne McCord. The last two years of the band’s career has been filled with various radio appearances and interviews in addition to a slew of shows alongside nationals like Sugarcult, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, and Mest, to name a few. Wicker Hollow has also been fortunate enough to headline Jersey’s most well known venue, The Starland Ballroom, more than once. In the spring of 2008, the guys hit the studio again with long time producer/friend Plinky Giglio to record the follow up to their 2007 release. After a summer of recording and playing select dates out, the band is back in action with their second full-length album, titled Wake Up Call. Although the band has accomplished a significant amount, Wicker Hollow shows no signs of stopping. With the release of the new record just around the corner, the title track to the 2009 independent film “The Roadhouse”, and plenty more to come in the new year, it’s safe to say the band is here to stay.
