As a New York City based musician with Midwestern roots, Williams warms his acoustic rock songwriting with a dose of atmospheric Americana. Daimon Williams was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, where he discovered his talent for music at an early age. Inspired by expressive performers such as Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews, and Van Morrison, Williams has embraced the craft of songwriting, having since issued two self-produced albums as an independent artist under the light-hearted name "Wicked Willy". Given the depth of Williams’ songwriting however, one would most likely think this sincere artist to be more insightful than wicked, regardless of the catchy moniker.
