Wicked Coffee Shoppers is a Serbian alternative band from Sombor, whose releases include many genres – vintage combined with modern elements, mostly tending to provide the hard alternative rock with some pop sound moments. The members of the band had an idea which was to form a completely original band with deep stories within each and every song, and that idea came to life in the summer of 2012 when their first album “Damaged Sunrise” hit the top numbers on many of the song lists all around their country and in the surrounding ones. With that, they woke up a big attention from the number of people, including some music critics, record labels, and other musicians from the region. Wicked Coffee Shoppers was formed in Sombor, Serbia, in late 2007 when two brothers – Zoltan Budai (vocals) and Robert Budai (guitar), gathered with their high school friends – Robert Markovic (drums) and Tibor Deze (bass) , and after a short time the band earned a growing fan-base in the funk rock music community and critical acclaim describing them as ‘a few boys from high school who know how to make a show’. Their hard vintage sound quickly became recognizable, and from the guys who were jamming together all day long and playing covers of the bands they all liked, they became a great band that could ‘blow away’ every person in the crowd, impressed with what they heard and saw.
