There is more than one band called Whom Gods Destroy 1) Prog Metal Supergroup Formed in 2020 during the pandemic by Derek Sherinian (keyboards) and Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal (guitar), who both played together in Sons of Apollo before. They were joined by Dino Jelusić (vocals) and later added Yas Nomura (bass) and Bruno Valverde (drums). Their debut 'Insanium' released on March 15th 2024 to critical acclaim. 2) Classic Heavy metal band from Canada Formed in February of 2005, Whom Gods Destroy is currently an incomplete, old-school metal band, based in Nova Scotia (Canada). Inspired by the likes of Slayer, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and many others -- guitarist, Tim Gaudet; bassist, Elizabeth Bondarenko; and drummer/vocalist, Nick Bond -- have set out with one ultimate goal in mind: to play classic heavy metal.
