Who by fire is a lively and unpredictable five-piece including acoustic instruments and violin. The band is double-fronted by Joey Carbo and Nick Douet, who employ and trade through an army of guitars while presenting diametrically passionate approaches to songwriting and performance. WHO BY FIRE brings forth an entirely (beyond) fresh and original type of rock n' roll/post-punk, combining elements of country, folk, gypsy, blues, punk, world music (Russian, Calypso), metal, ambient instrumental, jazz breakdowns, ...you name it, really. Mellow and tranquil as often as jarringly emotional, WHO BY FIRE approaches post-punk from entirely new latitudes and perspectives with melodic vocals, beautiful as well as noisy guitar solos, eerie and winding, high-speed violin, and a heavy-low, rolling, jazz-like rhythm section.
