Whitelands is a London-based shoegaze/dream pop band formed in 2017 by vocalist/guitarist Etienne Quartey-Papafio. Known for blending hazy, melodic soundscapes with themes of neurodivergence and racial identity, the group includes Jagun Meseorisa (drums), Vanessa Govinden (bass), and Michael Adelaja (guitar). They released their acclaimed debut album Night-Bound Eyes Are Blind to the Day in 2024 and follow-up Sunlight Echoes in 2026.
