White Cure

White Cure is a rock band based out of New Hampshire. Depending on the song, they are categorized as rock, metal, nu-wave, electronic, hardcore, grindcore, deathcore, screamo, or alternative. Every track has a different feel - they also recorded several covers of songs by The White Stripes and Radiohead. They released one album in 2003 entitled TARTASTIC. The band never really disbanded, and are technically still together although they have not recorded new material since 2004. In 2009 they released a 3-track EP featuring re-workings of old songs. The new EP, Mind Control, was released online only as a free download. The songs: Spite, Control, and Real Estate Investor were all originally on TARTASTIC - the new versions are "doom"-style recordings, slowed down and modded to sound deep and distorted.
