Formed in 2005, in Kiveton Park, Sheffield. Kiveton Park is a former coal-mining village and the source of inspiration for most of the songs. Band Members: Fraser Irving (vocals, guitar) Paul Dean (guitar, vocals) Richard Markin (bass) Nigel Robinson (drums) The songs are generally dark in nature, reflecting the despair and desperation of living in a deprived community, as well as its many manifestations: criminality, depression, drugs, alcohol, violence, parties, cameraderie, risk-taking, thrill-seeking, promiscuity, pseudo-celebrity.
