When Waves Collapse is an instrumental band based in the Netherlands, drawing inspiration from science, post-rock, shoegaze, ambient, and post-black metal. Prompted in equal parts by scientific postulation and existential expressivity, multi-instrumentalist and scientist, Travis J. Wiltshire, creates compositions that range from vastly cosmic to crushingly terrestrial. The debut album 'MOVEMENTS I' and it sequel 'MOVEMENTS II' were both independently released, and are available for download on BandCamp.
