Elliot Yorker was born in Jersey City, NJ on 02-12-1986 and also goes by a few other names as well. Some may call him GrimEY or DJ GrimEY. And others may call him Smilez. That's how he came up with the name G' Smilez. He first started DJ'ing in 2001 after falling in love with blend style mixtapes after hearing local DJs: DX, Nelly Nell, 007, E-Double, Big Tyme, Whimpy B and many more. While in high school he created a DJ team that goes by the name 201 Most Wanted which included some of the hottest up and coming DJs in Jersey City. He's been featured on multiple mixtapes and worked with many up and coming DJs of his era. His grind later caught the attention of two very popular local party promoters, Mr. Focus & Shakim, both from Money Train Ent.. After the break up of Money Train Ent, Mr. Focus (now founder of Get Focused Ent.) took G' Smilez under the wing and taught him the ropes of promoting parties which allowed him to further promote his graphic designs skills on the flyers for each event. After taking a short break from the DJ scene he later created G' Smilez Productions after focusing all of his attention to his true passion, making beats. Being that he knew how to play instruments made it easier for him to make beats. It came natural to him. He's also the son of Ellsworth Anderson from the group Rhyze. So music has been in his blood from day 1. You could almost always find him doing something related to music. But his hunger doesn't stop there! G' Smilez is a self taug
