Welshes is a music proposal that began in 2010 in Caracas, Venezuela. mixing shoegaze, drone doom, industrial and post rock elements. The name "Welshes", is inspired in the last name of the scotch author Irvine Welsh, adding the "es" like a pluralization and an Orwellian's life phylosophy. It means the pluralism of the people of Wales too. Currently, welshes is a personal project by Javier López, who made it after the breakup of Artificial Absence, last band that he participated like a keyboardist.
