Somewhere between the pop sensibilities of Paramore & Linkin Park, the heavy world of The Dillinger Escape Plan & Rage Against The Machine & Jazz Fusion behemoth Herbie Hancock, lies Hyper-Rock group Well? India Jazz, Andrew Gray & Taylan Bragg’s worlds only collided through geography & principles alone. But that was enough to launch the songwriting trio’s ambition, through much fastidious & arduous work, into a sound of their own. Like many other Gen Z acts, a myriad of influences has collided to form a familiar reading of previous eras, in this case the aforementioned Linkin Park & Rage Against The Machine. Yet the sound moves so far beyond this that only feelings could describe it; fierce, energetic, love & a desire for justice. Combined with the frenetic live shows, Well? has become a rising star in alt rock circles. This is only the beginning.
