Well Whale is an indiepop band formed in Jatinangor in 2018. The group consists of Faizal Agusdin (Vocal, Bass), Kelana Ashil (Drums, Backing Vocal), Puteri Ayesha (Vocal, Guitar), and Raja Mahardika (Guitar, Backing Vocal) Started with Faizal grabbing Raja, insisted to form a band, then followed with Raja snatching Kenny along to be their drummer. For a little while, they had no problem practicing until Faizal spoke up, feeling that there was something missing; they were lacking a feminine voice in their materials. Here's where Puteri came knocking in and it's the four of them ever since. Their music is inspired by 80s & early 90s British indiepop bands along with twee vocal character, 80's jangly guitar sound and a bit of punk attitude playing.
