Welcome Back Delta, hailing from the blasted tundra of Gloucestershire, are a rock band. They play rock music. They were once described by a German as "Bristol rednecks", when playing in Bristol. They've also been described as "a bit like Clutch" and "Dad rock" by various reviewers throughout their existence. Welcome Back Delta (or WBD), consist of 4 members: Joe Kelly : Guitar and Vox Phil Davies : Bass Steve Roberts : Drums Rob Duncan : Guitar Back in the mists of time an album was recorded, they called it Shocker (apparently slang for a ladies part). It had a number of songs on it, including (but not limited to), Deep Bone, Dropping Like Flies and Twist of Fate. Now they have awoken this time with an album titled Sucker (yet more slang for a ladies part). It too will contain songs. They've been busy between albums though, not for WBD to sit around resting on their laurels after one moderately successfull debut. Since releasing Shocker they have been sighted supporting Clutch, Lionise and Nick Oliveri amongst others. This year they've already played Breaking Bands festival as warm up for headline act Blase Bailey, and they played Wychwood where Joe got to meet Bill Bailey (no relation).
