WeakSauce was formed in the winter of 2003 when Eric Douthirt (Guitar), formerly of the band Dysfunktion, Justin Vilardi (Bass/Vocals) and Paul Liparoto(Drums), formerly from Muy Gordo, got together to try out a new sound. The chemistry was undeniable. Brad Gilmore(Trumpet) decided to join the group shortly thereafter. The foursome worked for 6 months and wrote 7 original songs that they were anxious to take to the streets. So began the next year and a half of constant gigging, gaining new fans with their versatile style and wildly energetic live show. They released their self-produced 4-song E.P. "Leprechaun" that included such hits as "Epiphany" and "Change". While recording "Nightmares and Daydreams", the band was also busy building a name for itself in the local music scene. They have been featured on WMNF 88.5 FM and receive frequent airplay on the 97X show 'Local Motion'. With an incredible amount of talent and an unrelenting drive, they've landed several national gigs playing with bands like Pepper, Lola Ray, Bargain Music, Long Beach Short Bus, Authority Zero and Bad Fish.
