We Meet Under Tables was a four piece post-punk/indie band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed via. long-distance in 2003 by Ryan Blecher and Mitch Hansen. After going through several line-ups (EP 1 was recorded with only the original two members), the band managed to secure distribution for their first release through Huntington-based RokLok Records. All in all, We Meet Under Tables released two EPs and appeared on one compilation. They were preparing to re-enter the studio to record a full-length when they disbanded in early 2008. Original members Ryan and Mitch went on to form Firing Squad (NY) with The Marine Electric bass player Eric Fairchild and Ralph Durso (ex-Salute the Dawn). Ryan Blecher plays drums with Yes Sensei and Fellow Project as well. Drummer Angie Boylan went on to tour with Each Other's Mothers before that band's eventual end, as well as to record and tour with successful Pop-Punk bands Cheeky and Little Lungs.
