We Know Jackson is a three-piece pop/rock band from West Michigan. On keyboards and lead vocals is Chris Janowiak. Providing the foundation on the Electric Bass is Isaac Hansen whose background vocals add a shimmer to the shine. Laying down the beats and getting down with his bad self is Peter Breithaupt on the drums. All three are/were music majors at Western Michigan University. After more than 40 years of combined musical experience, Chris, Isaac, and Pete joined forces and formed We Know Jackson in January of 2007. Since that time they have been writing and recording original music as well as playing shows relentlessly to spread the word. Although classified as a pop/rock band, the influences heard in We Know Jackson’s music ranges from Phish to Rachmaninoff, Miles Davis to Hanson. Due to this eclectic blend of influences, there is always a fresh and exciting spontaneity to their music with a touch of goodness. The band is excited about the possibilities in the future and for the release of their first full length album this summer.
