We Came From the Woods is a British/Norwegian band based in Oslo. Having played a series of acclaimed live shows in Norway and Sweden during their first years of existence, four select songs were chosen and honed for the Dark Matters EP, recorded in 2015 with the aid of revered indie rock musician/producer Kenneth Ishak. The four songs contain a driving rhythm section, with strong melodic guitar lines and crisp brooding lyrics wrapped in stadium-sized production, evoking some of the big names from the British post-punk/alternative scene of the eighties.
