about

The gentlemen of We Are Voices have spent the first year of the band’s existence recording a debut record, polishing their live performance, and most importantly, doing what they can to improve the music scene in their native Kansas City. Believing the small role they play in a sea of bands to be extremely significant is the attitude the band was built around. “I know it may be cliché by now, but it should never be competition before community,” notes Larson. Combining spacious guitar and vocal work with the intricate guidance of the rhythm section on their debut “What Makes Us So Alive?”, We Are Voices proves that they might just have what it takes to place them in that significant role. Larson adds, “We just want to meet other bands and do whatever we can to help. That’s what it’s all about to us."
