“I’ll always have your back.” We Are Promise is a band that stands for more than just music. We Are Promise stands for loyalty among all members, passion arising from persistence, and dedication beyond the breach of dreams. Rising from the ashes of the Bay Area music scene, the members of We Are Promise formed with one solid motivation: the search for success. With the dual vocalist team of Joshua Williams serenading the audience with his sweet melodies and Daniel Nguyen, complimenting such harmony with hardcore brutality in his screams, guitarist Kristofer Nemirsky also adding flare with flaming guitar solos and vocal harmonies, guitarist Nick Geracie enhancing every song with his knowledge of programming and pace, J.R. Bray holding down the underground on bass, and Tyler Dorsey tying everything together by dominating the drums, We Are Promise is reinventing ingenuity in the post-hardcore genre. The release of the band’s first single “Friend” in February 2011 resulted in the exponential growth of their fan base, enabling them to envision new heights of success. With this new profound inspiration instilled in them, We Are Promise went on to release their debut six track EP, entitled “This Is What You Are To Me…” on July 9, 2011. The band’s recent success within the local Bay Area music scene, including their advancement in the annual Pinup Production’s Battle of the Bands and the victorious release of their debut EP, has allowed them to grow, both as a band and as individuals
