Three dudes who know of salon quality hair and black coffee so strong you can shave with it. We Are Charlie is bringing back old school indie. With a sound that has been compared to The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Modest Mouse. These Pretoria boys are creating quite a buzz in the Pretoria/Joburg scene. Playing with the likes of ISO, Shortstraw, Aking, December Streets, Desmond & The Tutus, PH FAT, Fuzigish and the New Academics, they are getting the music folks to get up and dance awkwardly to their rad sounds. They love poetry, smoking, drinking and of course their friend Baxter. These guys want to make their passion for music their career. The band formed in February 2014 and is comprised of Dylan Christie (Lead vocals/Guitar), Rowan van Eeden (Backing vocals/Bass) and Wesley Reinecke (Drums). This three piece band just wants to play their music and make sweet, sweet love to peoples ears.
