Wayruro * The Peruvian group is dedicated to the interpretation and dissemination of Andean music. It was founded by Jose Luis Madueño (direction and arrangements) and Jean Pierre Magnet (co-director) with the aim of giving a new approach to Andean music, developing an open framework in which it is influenced by other currents of the world sound . Wayruro conceived to his music as pure and traditional expression under changing and evolutionary processes, giving a contemporary character to Andean music. Thus, their work is based on different musical expressions huayno Andean root (festive tunes), toyada (panpipes based music), huaylas (typical of the Central Sierra of Peru-dominated sound of saxophones), and mulizas yaravíes among others. These styles draw on concepts derived from rock, jazz, new age and symphonic music, giving Wayruro unique style. The instruments that make up the overall sound of the group are those used by traditional folk groups (panpipes, flutes, charango, mandolin, saxophone and percussion Andean drawer) and instruments used by the urban (synthesizers, electric guitar, electric bass, drums Latin percussion). Achieved by Wayruro style is determined by the simultaneous and separate structures and acoustic timbres of different keyboards.
