Wayne Everett made his name as the drummer for the Prayer Chain. He sang and led the group The Lassie Foundation. He was one of the members of Cush, along with other former members of the Prayer Chain, Michael Knott, Michael Pritzl, and others. He also put out a solo album out on Northern Records. Wayne also played drums for Starflyer 59 for a period, including their Americana album. He played percussion for The Choir on one tour in the 90s. Steve Hindalong, drummer and lyricist of the Choir, wrote the song "Diggin' Your Style" about Wayne on his lone solo album, Skinny.
