Unfortunately The Warren's Haynes Band (WHB) is often confused with Warren Haynes solo work. WHB is based on Warren's musical roots and love of soul music. Thre are 2 discs from WHB "Tales of Ordinary Madness" and "Man in Motion" have been released as Warren Haynes but both releases are focused on soul sounds and less on the bluesy\jazzy sounds of Gov't Mule, Allman Bros and other jam bands Warren is known for... The 2011 release\tour has been focused on funky grooves with Warren's guitar giving way to interplay with the sax, keyboards and backing vocalists. Often Warren has taken backseat to the sweet soulful sounds of the band letting the feeling of the rhythm and tones creep in to your heart... only to blow you off center with his soaring driven guitar solos sneaking up on you.
