Warmoon Lord is a Finnish black metal entity from Vantaa, masterminded by the enigmatic Lord Vrăjitor, who has single-handedly forged one of the most celebrated and distinctive voices in the modern Finnish black metal renaissance. Active since 2014, Warmoon Lord channels the icy, melodic grandeur of the 1990s second wave while infusing it with an unmistakable aura of medieval sorcery, cosmic mysticism, and triumphant occult warfare. The result is a sound that feels both ancient and otherworldly: razor-sharp tremolo melodies, galloping rhythms, majestic synth layers, and shrieking vocals that evoke moonlit rituals in forgotten castles. Warmoon Lord is the sole domain of Lord Vrăjitor (all instruments, vocals, lyrics, and artwork). No session or live musicians have ever been officially involved, preserving the project’s hermetic, ritualistic purity. Vrăjitor is also active in multiple other Finnish black metal acts (notably Old Sorcery, known for dungeon-synth majesty), but Warmoon Lord remains his flagship for raw, riff-driven black metal supremacy.
