Ward Stroud (Multi-instrumentalist, Vocals) Thomas Ellison Johnson (Bass) Lynn Axtell (Guitar) Vince Adame (Drums, Vocals) Good Time Fun Lovin Music! "Muddy" nominee for "Best New Act" and 2005 finalists in the "Journey to Memphis" International Blues Challenge! This band is a mix of both veteran and fresh talent. The members of the band collectively, and individually have multiple awards and nominations including Grammy's and Muddy's. Members of the band also have several recordings with both National and International distribution. The Ward Stroud Band covers the "Blues" gambut from early Delta style to modern "Standards" with a healthy dose of "Original" tunes. Fueled by the players backgrounds, history, and experiences, this band is gaining momentum in the Northwest with its eyes set on the National stage. Already a favorite with Portland clubs and music lovers, the WSB is a welcome infusion into the Portland music scene.
