Since 2011, Will Wallner has worked with Croatian singer Vivien Vain, forming the project ‘Wallner Vain’. Their music has featured many guest musicians including Don Airey, Carmine Appice, Vinny Appice, Rudy Sarzo, Derek Sherinian, Jimmy Bain, Neil Murray, Tony Carey, and Tony Franklin. Their song "Streets of Rage" was the first studio recording to feature both Vinny Appice and Carmine Appice on drums. In 2021 they released a Thin Lizzy tribute EP ‘'The Legend Never Dies’. Wallner Vain featuring guitarist Will Wallner and singer Vivien Vain have released a lyric video for their first single titled “Johnny B.
