There are two bands using the same monicker: (They both have nothing to do with the song "Wall of Silence" by Eric Burdon) 1)Melodic Rock from former members of THE WORKS. Both vocalist Brian Malone and guitarist Jim Huff are ex-members of MANNEQUIN. The 1992 'Shock To The System' WALL OF SILENCE album was produced by CITY BOY and STREETS guitarist Mike Slamer. CARL DIXON of CONEY HATCH and Greg Fulkerson of BLUE TEARS aided on the songwriting front. 2)Wall Of Silence was establised on December 29th in 2000, on "the edge" of the second millenium. A couple of friends from IV Belgrade highschool, which played in other punk bands, realized they have a similar music taste. Their views on world's social problems were alike as well. So, they decided to get involved and try to make the world a better place. Mihailo Jeftic (Bata) - drums, Ivan Hrnjicek (Hrnja) - bass, Jovan Jocovic - guitar, with Marko Gajic - vocals, were the first punx that started the whole machinery. After a few highschool shows, Marko leaves the band and establishes a new one - "Philosophy Smile", in which he plays the guitar. Then, Nikola Bursac, Belgrade skinhead, becomes a new singer. With Nikola's voice, Wall Of Silence gets a different sound, and songs get more harder. Unfortunately, Nikola also leaves the band after a while. Wall Of Silence finally records its first album, called "Over The Edge", with Pavle Jovanovic as a new singer, who is also in the W.O.S. crew nowadays. The album and all of bands eff
