After a long build up of creative tension and the desperate need to rock out, Wall Of Funk was formed into the progressive rock/funk/blues/metal power trio that they are today. Their music is most closely matched to a marriage of Rage Against The Machine and The Red Hot Chili Peppers but also shows influences of the experimental classic rock era as well as the progressive 90’s nu-metal and alt. rock era. The way that W.O.F. combines influences into one genre songs and also meshes multiple genres into the same song really shows how true they are to their desire to stand out from the crowd, as well as shows their musical tastes and creative song writing abilities. The trio resides in Madison, WI and consists of bassist Lennon Baker, drummer Cal Lamore, and front man Joe Marsden pulling double duty on vocals and guitar.
