Artist
Back in the late 1990s, Karl Moestl and Uwe Walkner were part of the Viennese downbeat movement that swept the globe. The pair released two EPs on Kruder & Dorfmeister's seminal G-Stone Recordings imprint, the 'Bluish EP' in 1999, followed by 'Heaven Or Hell' the next year. Now, in 2010, Walkner.Moestl have reunited. Ten years after their last release, the duo returns with 'Structures', an album of 16 new tracks as well as three videos, which were directed by Karl Moestl himself. 'Structures' is an accomplished album and presents a remarkable update to the Walkner.Moestl sound by fusing dubstep styles with house, techno and downbeat elements, while adding a distinct pop appeal with the inclusion of numerous vocalists.
