Walking Plague is a pseudo-progressive death metal band from Long Island, NY. Pulling influences from everything from early metal and progressive rock to modern metal, rock 'n roll and metalcore, the band is beginning to carve out their place in the Long Island hard rock and metal scene. The bulk of the songwriting comes from the psychedelic metal mind of Rob Mulry and the free thinking hard rock mind of JD McGibney, with arrangement and composition input from the avant-garde progressive mind of Rich Giustiniani and lyrical and thematic content from the deranged and out of this universe mind of Shawn Sisti. Their debut five song EP, Rise To Be Condemned, recorded and mixed by Steve Sabella [of the renowned Sabella Studios in LINY], is available at shows [and soon on iTunes], with artwork by the outline-mastermind Scott Danger Reisher.
