Steven Bradford: Lead Vocals Michael Chan: Rhythm Guitar, BGVs Josh Williams: Lead Guitar Joe Miller: Bass, BGVs David Balderrama: Drums Joe Miller and David Balderrama were roommates, friends, and musicians. After some time performing together under the name RHEMA, the two decided that a change was in order to better meet their tastes in music and performance style. The two formed WAITING FOR AUTUMN in early 2002 with Joe at bass and David on drums, then added their friend Joshua Williams to lead guitar. Shortly thereafter Steven Bradford took over the lead vocalist position. Steven is no stranger to the music scene as he used to watch his older cousin Lars Fredrickson perform with RANCID at an early age. Steven made attempts to cover the second guitar position, but decided to focus his efforts on heartfelt lyrics and emotional melodies. Michael Chan, an early fan who used to attend practices with Steven, was asked to lay down his bass and pick up six strings to round out the band. In July of 2002 Waiting for Autumn signed with Red Room Management in an attempt to get their live show pushed in front of many unfamiliar faces. Only one short month later the band found themselves playing with the likes of Noise Ratchet, The Beautiful Mistake, and Dogwood. Waiting for Autumn has remained in high demand around the San Diego and Orange County area. In September, Waiting for Autumn signed a contract with American Jealousy.
