Formed from the remains of a cover band who had trouble finding a singer and people lacking the interest of practising. The drummer and guitarist/ back vocals had been messing arround with songs on their own and decieded to quit the band they had formed 4 years ago, and to start something new in spring 2008. Unlike what might be easy to gues, WFO does not has the well known meaning; Wide Fucking Open, but means Wij Fiene Oas, wich is Frisian for WE think differently, alltough it doesn't sound that nice in englisch. Frisian is a language spoken in the north of The Netherland. Allthough it's mostly practising now, as soon as school's done, performing will be a matter. WFO took it's origin from the Overkill album of the same name, since overkill is a big influence, allong with Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, CCR, Destruction, Queen, just to keep it wide. The band untill now concists of Sietze Boonstra - Lead guitar/ Vocals Sander ( The Poppe) Louwes - Drums and Percussion It's all making songs till now.
