Wayne Perry was born in Indian Bayou, Louisiana. His parents were Thomas & Emma Perry. He had one sister, Virgie Perry Boulet & two brothers, Clayte Perry and Everett Perry. His wife was Willa Mae and they had no children. Wayne served in World War II. His recordings can be found in The Library of Congress and the Louisiana Cajun Music Hall of Fame.
