Vrljika (or Vokalno Instrumentalni Sastav Vrljika) was founded in 2012 in a small town of Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. After years of hanging out and drinking beer in parks and other public places, a bunch of friends decided to try something new - start a band. Although without initial support by their closest environment, the band pushed onwards and soon they played their first gigs in their hometown which were marked with frequent major f**k-ups and on-stage rants. The band's humorous character and charisma, most notably seen in the song Vrljika Je Sranje (Vrljika Sucks) soon attracted attention of people in other cities, and the band set their sails to other towns and cities around Serbia. They occasionally supported larger bands such as Jorgovani, with whom they've eventually reached the stages of Belgrade.
