about

Vrba Escape began in a dark living room near downtown Orlando Florida. The definition of the band was immediate in the first shred of music that was generated. Participants in a group that was only minutes old, unsure if what was happening was a fluke or really a new musical aesthetic coming from a place they weren’t sure even existed seconds before. A simple, punk rock inspired bass riff slowed to a sway. It immediately triggered a drum response which could only be described as subterranean. The guitar layer, dressed in black, echoed between the drum beats and danced with the bass. The moment was realized and there wasn’t a damn thing anyone could do about it. Vrba Escape was forged from a collective mind. That musical mind had seen the 1990′s and had been the 2000′s. A sound birthed into the twenty-first century kicking and screaming as any child of punk rock should. A sound dredged from a scrap heap of forgotten synthesizers, equipped with a dark electronic pulse, and driven by a transistor heart. This sound, pieced together from the parts of a forgotten era was delivered and stood ready for all out sonic warfare. That sound is Vrba Escape.
