Vox Archangeli is a Swedish music project introducing a new musical style of their own: Gregorian Lounge Music. Vox Archangeli combines original Gregorian chants from early medieval times with modern electronic sounds. The inspiration comes from a wide range of musical influences, from classical and folk music, through to pop and rock. Vox Archangeli’s first album Sanctus : Michael [Heart Song Records] is produced by the grammy winning Dan Sundquist, one of Sweden’s most established producers. In the last decades Dan Sundqvist has worked with many of the best selling Swedish artists, but this exciting project has led him in a completely new musical direction. The members of Vox Archangeli were previously part of the techno/pop-oriented group Vox Nova, whose debut album Sapientia was released by Heart Song Records in 2007. Tracks has appeared on international compilations, featuring artists and bands such as Blackmore’s Night, Enigma, Gregorians, Nightwish, Delerium, and Sally Oldfield.
