Christchurch, New Zealand - late 2000's A metallic brand of hardcore punk. A 5 piece band featuring members with playing experience in Boltcutter, Blindfolded and Led To The Woods, Subsidence, XfrankgrimesX and a variety of other heavy Christchurch bands. In 2009 the band released a full length album named Dead Wrong. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jo Veale at Clevetown Studios. Vorpal Blade notably opened for hardcore legends Terror on one of their visits to New Zealand, playing support at the Media Club in Christchurch City. They also shared the stage with Comeback Kid, The Thaw, Gorehouse, The Red Corner, and did a 6 date New Zealand tour supporting the Dead Wrong album alongside Yeti Smasher.
