Vorkuta is a hungarian black metal band based in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary. They formed in 2002 and are signed under Paragon Records. Their lyrical themes are darkness, evil, war and Satan. The name Vorkuta comes from a remote region in eastern Russia where many gulag camps were located.
