THE COMPLETE HISTORY - DIE GANZE GESCHICHTE By the end of the seventies Volkerazzi, born in southern Hessen Seeheim-Jugenheim as Volker Friedrich, began to make music in his hometown Pfungstadt. First in the local dilettantes band „Guru, Gonzo, Fratz, Wulle, Hink & Schpaschel“, then from autumn 1981 also as a soloist under the pseudonym „Die Ichs (The Egos)“, by which he is to be mentioned in the music magazine „sounds“ in the may 1982 edition (quote: „…and Die Ichs (hollow dilettants noise)“). Regardless, the main thing was to be mentioned! It was just the time of punk in germany! Because of the overriding need to have real money, the musical career came with the end of 1983 to more than one stops, increasing to a standstill in 1984. After several years of searching for inspiration, he began in the late nineties to paint self-taught and to photograph and with others he formed the community of artists Pungscht/Pfungstadt KUEKOPP (http://www.myspace.com/kuekopp).
