From the deepest depths of the Polders came forth Peter Spaargaren. Born and bred in Amsterdam, Holland, this bouncehouse techstep producer injects speakers around the globe with his trademark moody blues dancemusic. Surgeon sounddesign, like a rhythmically executed stampeding horde of clubmonkeys, set a new standard for inventive dancefloor material by combining the thrills of Saturday night excitements with the challenging listen of cunning musical content. Following the Way of the Hex, very few have claimed to know the actual void in Void Pointer, but many more come straight to the point: this is not just house music, this is not just techno. This is four-to-the-floor, only backfired into oblivion and drenched in the soul that was used to create it. Although the past has brought us many aspects of Void Pointer, like his experiments with many a style and his adventures with Easily Embarrassed, the journey is not yet at an end. Like a fungus the musical entity grows ever larger, exploring the vast plains that electronic music has to offer, Void Pointer will continue to expand his auditory visions by merging the stomp with the vibe.
