Vlněna is a noise/punk band formed in Brno, CZ in spring 2013 by members of Or, Unna, Baalzac, ex-Human Steak and Rapsöd. Most of the band´s songs has also an accoustic version, as the band performs accoustic too. They try to express the feelings and relationships connected with the city space, concrete places or events. They wonder how to create an intimate relationship with certain places to enrich their associations substantially. Part of this journey is also realized through re-written poems of Brno-originating writers Jan Skácel and Ivan Blatný. The name of the band comes from an abandoned factory brownfield in the centre of Brno. In December 2014 they released a split-cassette with Kurac.
