Vivien's Shadow is an indie-rock band from the Czech Republic. Rocking since 2005, influenced by the British guitar scene and U.S. alternative scene. The Vivien’s Shadow were founded at the turn of spring and summer 2005. The basic core was formed by Kuba (voc, guit), Paich (lead guit), Vesi (bass) and Stephen (dr). During that year they composed several songs and played two concerts in their hometown. Paich left the band because of his work with other bands after that season. Then Viviens have continued in three, performed in many shows even in smaller festivals troughout the Czech Republic and recorded and released two EPs - "The Name of Second One" (2007) and "Vivien" (2008). In 2007 they advanced into ten most talented Czech bands of the year in Incubator contest organized by I-legalne.cz sever and year after they reached semifinal of Jack Daniel's Talent Scouting. By this the "Kevin Eye" song has been added into Radio 1 & Radio Beat dramaturgy. During 2009 the various problems have occured in band. Those have graded into the Stephen’s leaving the band just during their concert tour "FF09" in that year’s autumn. Viviens have finished it together and from January 2010 they have played with new drummer Domek from the punk-rock band Selfish together. After concert active year 2010 the band started to compose and rehearse songs for the new LP.
