Vittorio Tolomeo comes from Messina, Italy. He settled in Milano a few years ago and started out his solo career. During the years he played in a few bands. The most important one has been Noema, in which he had been connected for more than ten years now. 'Prize Day' is the first album as solo artist. It’s a crossroad where the romantic obsession of the new wave meets the rhythm and energy of funk and the sweetness of soul, with some folk electroacoustic forays. The songs share a musical world. Besides they share a thin line in the lyrics. The thin line is about the human relations in this age. Especially in a big city. It’ s a long walk through the streets of this big city, facing the change of urban rhythms, while a lot of questions and reflections cross our minds.
