Virgin Sacrifice is a self-described Kentucky metal band formed in the early days of 2023, apart of the broader "K*rd Metal" movement, they blended various musical elements from different genres into their unique style rooted in black metal. Hailing from the hills of eastern Kentucky, the band was born from a PlayStation party chat between two longtime friends living on opposite sides of Pulaski County, making Virgin Sacrifice one of, if not the first, extreme metal bands from the Lake Cumberland region of Kentucky despite never being accepted into the metal archives. Influenced by the great bands hellish satanic suffering, Revenge and Slave Whipping Blasphemy, they immediately began writing their first song Bloody Rags of Execution and subsequently released it on January 8th. Their debut EP titled Darkest Depths of Hell released on February 14th followed by a Promo release FFR Promo on March 5th for their record label Fart Filled Records. Additionally, they released another EP titled Goat Blasphemy on March 12th. Their debut album, Bloody Harlan , after being recorded and worked on for months, released upon completion on July 13th, and then the band went on hiatus. Virgin Sacrifice is so heavy they will rip off your goddamn balls!
