There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Viper the Rapper (real name: Lee Carter) was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, and moved to Houston, Texas at the age of 6. He was raised in the Hiram Clarke subdivision of Houston, Texas. He began rapping at age 9 and has been involved with hip-hop for over 2 decades. He produces all of his music. You could have found him grinding, parlayin’ and chilling, balling, or selling crack cocaine. On January 4th, 2024, Viper was arrested for aggravated kidnapping of a woman for 4-5 years, he was released on bond a few days later. At the end of January, his bond was revoked for communicating with the victim. A new charge of violating bond 2 times within 12 months was added and he was sent back to jail. On February 28th, 2024, charges of kidnapping & sexual assault of a different woman were added. All of the kidnapping charges were later dropped and he pleaded guilty to sexual assault, fraud, and violation of bond conditions. On April 17, 2025, Viper was sentenced to 15 years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison. He will first be eligible for parole in 2031. _________________ 2) VIPER is one of the pioneers of heavy metal bands in Brazil.
